The first round of mid-terms are over. I don't think I taxed my spleen anymore than it already was, so that's good. So far, my Meridian Theory and Point Location classes have been straight forward enough. The basic schematics and nomenclature of our bodies' energetic network, the JingLuo (經絡) makes sense for the most part. I still don't have an answer as to how they were first discovered and mapped. I guess there was less disturbance in the Force back then, hahaa.
I'm trying to get over the fact that much of our English texts go off on contrived tangents. It would be one thing if we could just ignore said material, but the national board exams draw indiscriminately from these texts. I know that I'll be learning/unlearning things well after school, but I couldn't imagine trying to do this without having Chinese already on the brain. That immediacy of seeing old medical drawings and understanding whatever accompanying text without having to find the right English word is invaluable.
ahhh, my homework tonite: sleeeeep!
